One-on-one Sessions - Finding your individual way of creating the changes you are looking for.
When clients come to see me they can be looking for various results: they want to feel freer and happier in their day-to-day lives. They want to change recurring personal patterns that interfere with their aims, relationships and wellbeing. They suffer from too much stress or physical pain and discomfort. They want to realize their dreams and wishes and dare to go for MORE in their lives. (You can find more possible aims for one-on-one sessions below.) Whatever their initial aim to come for one-on-one sessions, the way of reaching what they are looking for is always highly individual, and sometimes surprising. I am thinking, for example, about a woman that came to see me because of a sleeping disorder and the wish to rest more deeply. We discovered in our work together that what she really needed to learn was to say no, to set boundaries and to stand behind her own opinion when needed. Once she achieved that, her sleep became deeper and more restful than it had ever been.
All my years of experience in working with clients have taught me one thing again and again: learning is always individual, and often doesn’t happen in the obvious way… When you want to work with a specific subject in your life and want to create certain changes, it is my job to create a path of learning that will be right for you. That will touch you. That will work for you. And that will challenge and reward you in the right way so that you can achieve the results that you are looking for.
How do I do that? Mainly by showing you where you usually stand in your own way, by teaching you how to better access your own power, resources and qualities, and by inviting you to follow your personal wishes, dreams and needs ALL the way. You will learn tools and experiences that you need in order to create the change you are looking for. Taking these steps in your life and taking them into practice will always be your own independent journey. When applied, the tools can help you to create change again and again – on your own and in many different situations of your life.
HOW DO ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS WORK?
Through various forms of touch, training in breathing, relaxing and strengthening the body, mindfulness and meditation tools, as well as description and coaching, you will learn: - to be more connected to yourself, your body and your needs and wishes - to notice when stress and limiting patterns appear in your life and how to change them on the spot - to have a better access to your own qualities and resources and utilize them when you need them, e.g. relaxation, motivation and willpower, vulnerability, confidence, focus and concentration, the right amount of sensitivity for others and your surroundings, creativity, trust, dealing with your emotions in a balanced way… - to follow your aims in a structured way, and reach practical and tangible results in your everyday life.
The duration and frequency of our meetings is chosen according to the aim(s) you have. It might be enough to meet once or a few times in order to change an acute situation or symptom. In other cases, we might need a series of meetings or we might decide to meet on demand. It is also possible for you to combine one-on-one sessions with participating in workshops.
